Hello- We are being transferred to Fairchild AFB in June. We are so excited to be heading to this area since we have wanted this assignment for some time. Does anyone know what base living is like? Is the housing nice? How are the schools? I heard that the base elementary school goes thru 6th grade. Do neighboring schools also have elementary thru 6th? How is the Medical Lake High School. Would love to send my oldest to Gonzaga High. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Wonderful Area! Schools are ok. Not the best but not too bad either. The Medical Lake area is beautiful and quaint.
